For 20 years, Atlantis Events has been organizing cruises, tours and gay weeks at resorts. They are recognized as the largest organizer of gay events in the world.
In 2012, they are organizing what they say will be the largest gay cruise in history. Since it will be on the largest ship in the world, its hard to argue.
The company has chartered Royal Caribbean's 'Allure of the Seas', and hopes to fill it with 5,400 gays and lesbians for a weeklong tour of the Caribbean.
The cruise will be sailing from Fort Lauderdale on January 29th, and returns on February 5th. The ship will stop at Labadee in northern Haiti, as well as Costa Maya and Cozumel, both in Mexico.
Atlantis has promised top-notch entertainment, lots of parties, and what they call 'innovative ways of introducing people to each other'.
Many of the cabin categories are already sold out, and prices on remaining cabins start at $1,400 per person based on double occupancy.
