Last and of course never the least is Café Gratitude. Raw vegan and delicious, this lovely gem is right next to Melrose. The overall ambiance here gives patrons a sense of feeling loved and every menu item has a wonderful affirmation attached to its name (for example a large café salad called “I am Fulfilled”). Vegetarians will enjoy the somewhat “hip hippiness" that permeates throughout the restaurant. The interior is very earthy; it makes for a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the streets, almost like a retreat. The significant attention to detail and quality over quantity approach is what makes Café Gratitude’s moderately expensive menu worth every dollar.

Larchmont is an excellent location to take a stroll, a date, or even a lunch break. Fun, easy to navigate, yet seemingly uncharted and not the least bit kitschy, Larchmont makes for an excellent neighborhood for Los Angeles vegetarians to escape to.
