Lara Spencer renewed her ABC contract to maintain her position as the lifestyle anchor for "Good Morning America." The Hollywood Reporter wrote March 27 in an exclusive that Spencer is happy to continue working for America's number one morning news program.

“You know you're in the right job when getting up at 4 a.m. is a joy,” said Spencer. "This was a simple decision; I love what I do, and I adore the people I work with. I am thrilled to be on this team and look forward to many more years."

So, how much will Lara Spencer be making? According to another report, the "GMA" anchor will make $2 million annually.

Apparently ABC senior vice president Jeffrey Schneider is excited about Spencer renewing her contract.

“We couldn't be happier,” Schneider told THR. “Lara is a uniquely gifted anchor at the top of her game. She brings so much energy, fun and smarts to every single broadcast. She is beloved by our viewers with good reason."

Spencer has been the lifestyle anchor for "GMA" since 2011 and is a popular member of the cast. Fans have been waiting months to find out if she'll still remain on the show.

This is great news for ABC and Spencer. Making $2 million a year is a good deal for the vibrant blonde!

Are you glad Lara Spencer is staying on "Good Morning America"?
