I headed to the local Best Buy right here in Westland Michigan and as I walked around I noticed how the computer section was being dominated by tablets. Ipads, Samsungs, all sorts of different brands and screen sizes. What happened to laptop computers? Not too long ago the laptop computer pretty much did away with desktop computers, although they are still widely available but not as much as before. Now the same is happening with laptop computer. Every since Apple released the Ipad and then all the other android tablets emerged, laptop computer are becoming scarce.
Currently I do own a laptop computer, a Dell Inspiron 1420 with Windows Vista. Should I replace it with a tablet, if so which one? I told one of my friends I have a laptop computer, he told me to jump into the new century. Personally I dont think the laptop, desktop and maybe not even the tablet will make it past the year 2020, because as soon as you have the newest thing, a month later a newer thing comes out. With the constant change and upgrade of technology at such a fast paced, Im thinking to ride my computer to its last bolt of energy, then maybe by then a tablet or a newer technology.
