Lapsed Botox user Jennifer Aniston gained weight after quitting smoking

Jennifer Aniston, who was recently named the Hottest Woman of All Time, credits a healthy diet, exercise and sunscreen for her youthful good looks, not Botox or other cosmetic fillers.

“People think that I do a lot of injections, but I don’t,” Aniston, 42, tells InStyle. “I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it...but I see how it’s a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me."

I Quit Smoking and Gained Weight

Jennifer, who works out up to 2 hours a day to maintain her toned bikini body, gained weight recently after she kicked her longtime nicotine habit.

“I quit smoking a few months ago and I put on a couple of pounds,” reveals Aniston, a longtime yoga devotee and runner.

“Normally I’d be like, ‘Oh my god, I gained weight! Everyone is going to think I’m pregnant!' Now I just don’t care.”

Aniston says her years of sun tanning has taken its toll on her skin.

“I’ve started getting those little sun spots,” says Jennifer. “Things are beginning to pop out. Even the texture [of my skin] is changing.

"So I’ve recently started zapping the spots (with laser treatments) and getting spray tans whenever I can. And I’ve graduated to using SPF 60 sunblock when I’m on the beach.”

Some other beauty secrets include getting her eyelashes dyed every three weeks because she "hates wearing mascara" and keeping a pair of scissors handy in her car glove compartment to trim split ends.

'I Was a Dumpy Teenager'

Aniston, who has gotten leaner and fitter with age, confesses she wasn't a beauty growing up.

“I was a dumpy teenager,” she recounts. “My mom was a model and was all about looks, so I rebelled by going goth.

"It took me years of peeling back the onion to finally stop using makeup as a mask and feel comfortable in my skin.”
