Alber Elbaz sent the Lanvin spring 2012 collection down the Paris Fashion Week runway today and gave Lanvin fans the flowing frocks and feminine handbags they have grown to love from the iconic design house. The Lanvin spring 2012 collection featured structured silhouettes in soft and flowing fabrics paired with stiff handbags which were classic and feminine at the same time.
The handbag collection on the Lanvin spring 2012, Paris Fashion Week runway was timeless and offered clean lines in simple fabrications. The formal clutches offered hard box frames covered in smooth leather and exotics. Lanvin’s evening clutches were extremely small and barely peeked out from the sides of the models hands.
The daytime handbag collection from Lanvin included clutches, shoulder bags and a briefcase. Lanvin's daytime clutches were medium in size and shown in smooth, sleek leather with classic flap closures.
Lanvin’s shoulder bags offered the same flap closure as the daytime clutches and were also shown in smooth leather as well as exotic skins. The shoulder bags were shown in mini, cross body styles as well as medium sized, traditional shoulder bag silhouettes.
There was one briefcase on the Paris Fashion Week runway from Lanvin which was black and offered a flap closure and could easily fit a laptop as well as much-needed files for the office.
Lanvin showed their handbag collection in neutral colors and in clean and classic styles for the spring 2012 season. The collection is timeless and investment handbag worthy.
