Lanvin for H&M is the new, highly anticipated collaboration between Alber Elbaz and discount fashion shop H&M. Lanvin is famous for creating beautiful and feminine handbags that are highly coveted by Fashionistas around the world. The Fall/Winter handbag line by Lanvin is filled with fabulous, cross body mini-bags, cross body messenger style bags, shoulder bags and totes. Alber Elbaz, creative director for Lanvin, has created a coffee colored, soft quilted cross-body mini-bag that is sure to end up with a waiting list amung Fashionistas seeking the perfect, hands-free handbag for Fall.
Lanvin's Fall collection includes metallic, soft totes and a fabulous bronze lambskin shoulder bag with a chain strap as well as Lanvin's signature bow detail. Fashionistas are curious if the H&M collection will include handbags and will there be any variations of Lanvin's beloved Fall handbags.
The current Fall collection from Lanvin, which can be found at Bergdorf Goodman and Barney's, contains shoes from the leopard print trend as well as perforated leather, feminine bow detail and bits of lace and feathers. Fashionistas are hoping that Lanvin for H&M will play off of the current colection and create affordable versions that compliment the current Lanvin line. If the H&M line compliments the current Lanvin line for Fall, Fashionistas will be able to mix and match the peices together and save money in the process.
Lanvin for H&M will be revealed to the public on November 2, 2010 and will hit store shelves nationwide on November 20, 2010.
