Landscaping for Birds, Bees and Butterflies presentation

On Saturday, January 26, 2013, the Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society, in partnership with the City of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation Department, will present Gail Bolin speaking on “Landscaping for Birds, Bees and Butterflies”. This lecture will teach you what plants and other furnishings to put in your garden to attract the native creatures. The presentation will take place at the Community Hall (log building) at 204 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, ID 83864 (if you are coming into Sandpoint from the south, right after you make the hard right turn into town it’s on your left) and will begin at 9:45 A.M. The presentation is open to the public.

The Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society webpage has links to their archives and native plant lists for various hiking trails in north Idaho. The current newsletter, The Kinnikinnick Journal, is available online.
