We're fans of Alber Elbaz and all of the whimsical beauty he brings to Lanvin every season. Elbaz has now been tapped by Lancome to collaborate for a summer 2013 beauty collection. The video released shows Elbaz's signature chic cartoons chatting about the collaboration and beauty blogs are blowing up with the news just the same.

No word on what colors or finishes will be included in the Lancome x Alber Elbaz collaboration, but we're sure bright hues and fashion forward packaging is in the works. In the past, Lancome has done lipstick collaborations with designers such as Proenza Schouler and Derek Lam.
