Behind the Scenes of Macy's Glamorama Model’s looks were completed with makeup by Beauty Partner/Sponsor Lancôme under the artistic direction of Alex Sanchez and his fantastic team of 8 makeup artists. Their names are: Lori Armantrout, Laurie Huizinga, Shelby Kressy, Debb Markey, Jill Nassif, Paula Parsons, Rahil Pasha and Alma Vincson. The hair was done by RED 7 SALON.
Lancôme is our official beauty sponsor this year. Being the Chicago Makeup Examiner, I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to meet the artistic director and the mastermind behind the chosen looks and theme of Glamorama Fashion Rocks.
Attending the behind-the-scenes perspective gives you an opportunity to see how everyone works as a team in addition to seeing all the dynamic work that goes into the look of Glamorama. The models get their makeup done and do a full dress rehearsal before the show which is exactly like the evening show will full hair, makeup, and wardrobe.
Compliments of Lancôme, select media was given the full "Glam Look" with a full make up service. It was great because you had an opportunity to learn about the specifics products within the Lancôme line. This way, I had my makeup ready for the evening show and after party. How cool is that!
There were a total of 45+ models which received makeup prep. I got an opportunity to meet Alex Sanchez. He has been working with Lancôme for 14 years, now as Regional Trainer for Makeup Artists he shares the vision of the “Glam Look” and makes everyone Rock with Lancôme!
