This piece was written by his daughter Taylor Brown...

Lance Brown is a single father who lives pay check to pay check on a teacher's salary, he works for DeKalb County Schools System. He takes care of his daughter, two sons and his elderly mother which is extremely difficult with the little money he makes.

Lance fought for custody of his children because their mother let her boyfriend antagonize and abuse them. The mother lost the custody battle, she was court ordered to pay child support but she never has paid anything to him. He has not had the mother put in jail for backed child support because he didn't want to upset his children.

However, he is struggling to pay bills for his daughter and soon his son’s college education.

He's always helping people and he never expects anything in return but today I'm asking you to help him. He is a school teacher, mentor, singer, and songwriter. He has recently written a country song called "American you, American me" and I'm asking you to help us promote his song. He wrote it for his deceased father who was an army veteran and my cousin (his nephew) who is in the navy. He wants this song to be played nationwide and I want his dreams to come true.

Please watch the video and listen to the song below.
