The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) will air an exclusive interview with Lance Armstrong, reported ABC News on Jan. 17. In the two and a half hour interview, ABC News presents new info, that it will be a 2-part interview, to air over two nights. Armstrong is expected to confess his admission to using performance enhancing drugs with Oprah.
The seven Tour de France winner and cancer survivor has denied doping allegations for over a decade.
Livestrong Foundation staffs – the cancer foundation he founded – were the first ones to hear the cyclist express regret after professing to years of lying about the doping charges against him.
The Oprah Winfrey interview will air Thursday and Friday at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. For New York viewers, Time Warner Cable, channel 115; Direct TV, channel 279; DISH Network, channel 189 and RCN, channel 336.
It is speculated that millions of viewers will be drawn to the two part show that will result in a surge in ratings for Oprah’s network; OWN has been struggling over the years.
