April is Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month. The YWCA is hosting a program titled “Adults who have been assaulted by children or adolescents” today. A mother will tell her story about being sexually assaulted by her 10 year old son. The program will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 110 North Lime Street.
Character’s Pub’s April Celebrity Bartending Night is tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The night will feature Brian and Sandy Brightbill, the co-chairs of the 2014 Heart Ball that supports the American Heart Association - Lancaster! The Lancaster Public Library’s History Book Club meets Wednesday. The Library is located at 125 North Duke Street.
Mulberry Art Studio will hold its Wednesday Evening Artist Open Studio. Artists (18+) may draw, sketch or paint a live nude model. Artists should bring their own art supplies. Chairs and tables will be provided. The instructor is fine oil painter and graphic designer Beth Bathe. The Studio is located at 19-21 North Mulberry Street.

The Lancaster Historical Society is offering a class this evening at 6:30 p.m. The class is: “Advanced Genealogy: Tackling Genealogy Problems.” The two hour class is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. If you were at Lancaster Central Market yesterday, you may have noticed a change. The Pennsylvania Fudge Company has moved. Still within the Central Market, the stand is now located across from S Clyde Weaver’s stand. Lancaster Central Market is open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
