Lancaster City Morning Buzz: Watch the Barnstormers at Spring Training

The Lancaster Barnstormers invites fans to watch their Spring Training Game vs. York Revolution at 11 a.m. Monday. Gates open at 10:00 AM. Free admission and you are permitted to bring your own food into the ballpark today. The team is 0-1-2 for the preseason.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Frost Advisory. It remains in effect until 8 a.m. That should warm off quickly though with today's high potentially reaching 70 degrees.

The School District of Lancaster is closed on Monday.

Knitting can be a relaxing craft. Learn how to knit at the Library! This free session is held every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and is for children and teens. The Library also holds Citizenship Lancaster classes at 6 p.m. every Monday. The sessions are designed to help people become citizens of the US. Registration is required. To register, call the Library at 717-394-2651 ext. 105. The Library is located at 125 North Duke Street.

The Ware Center will show “The Enemy,” a psychological erotic film, on Monday. There are two showings: 5 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $7. Students and seniors are $5. The Ware Center is located at 42 North Prince Street.

Lancaster area horse trainer Norman Martin was featured in the NY Daily News yesterday. Martin trains the horses that work at Central Park.

Lancaster Police have filed charges against a Marietta man after he barricaded himself in a home on Mulberry Street last night, according to WGAL.

Good luck to our local runners who are traveling to Boston today for the Boston Marathon. This is the 118th Boston Marathon.
