Amtrak service between Harrisburg (HAR) to Lancaster (LNC) was restored yesterday after track system problems. Amtrak does still expect some residual delays. Lancaster Central Market is open today until 4 p.m. Stop in and fill up your Easter baskets with lots of sweets and treats!

City Council will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The meeting will be held at the Southern Market Center, 100 South Queen Street.

The Lancaster Public Library offers Legos & More as well as a Teen Gaming session tonight. The Library is located at 125 North Duke Street.

Several Lancaster area artists showed their artwork recently during First Friday. Most of the exhibits will run throughout April. The Phillips Museum of Art is featuring an exhibit “Theresa Bernstein: A Century of Art”. The museum is open today from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located at 400 College Avenue.

The North Museum of Natural History and Science takes a look at our food today. Explore nutrition and fitness during the “Eat Well, Play Well” exhibit. The Museum is open today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 400 College Avenue.

Lancaster City Public Works will be flushing water distribution mains beginning 6 April. The flushing will be done between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Each main will be cleaned during this period. The flushing may cause city residents to notice a cloudiness to their water and a drop in water pressure during the flushing. If your water appears cloudy, let it run for a moment. If the problem continues, call the Water Quality Lab at 717-291-4818.

Tuesday is Flight Night from 5 p.m. to close and Trivia Night by CNP Trivia from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Federal Taphouse, 201 North Queen Street.

CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates of Lancaster County – was recently named the tournament charity partner for the fourth consecutive year for the Jack Bylerly – Harry Hutchinson Charity Tournament. The tournament was hosted by the Lancaster County 8 Ball League. Proceeds from the event in excess of $14,000 were donated to CASA of Lancaster County.

Today is the deadline to register for a free seminar on Student Financial Aid, put on by the Lanco Federal Credit Union. The seminar will offer information for parents and high school students on financing a college education. Light refreshments will be provided. The seminar will be led by Ken O'Connor, a financial aid expert and nationwide speaker who has been recognized by CBS MoneyWatch as one of the "Top 25 College Twitterers". The seminar will be held Thursday, 10 April at 6:30 p.m. at the Farm & Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road. Call 717-569-7180 today to register.
