Bring the little ones to the library and let their imagination soar! The Lancaster Public Library, 125 North Duke Street, will hold Preschool Storytime today. The story time is geared for children aged two through six. This free event begins at 11:30 a.m.

The Districts, Toy Soldiers will perform at the Chameleon Club tonight. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. Must be 18+ to attend. The Chameleon is located at 223 North Water Street.

Trey Overholt will perform this evening at Tellus360. Overholt is a singer/songwriter from Ohio. He takes the stage at 8 p.m. There is no cover charge. Tellus360 is located at 24 East King Street.

Music will tell a story today at Franklin & Marshall College. The F&M Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. in the Mayser Physical Education Center. Brian Norcross is the conductor.

The Department of Theater, Dance & Film at F&M will present a play this evening titled “Angels in America: Part I Millennium Approaches.” The play looks at the AIDS epidemic during the 1980s in the gay community. This 7:30 p.m. play is open to the public but is for mature audiences. General admission is $10. The performance will be in the Schnader Theater in the Roschel Performing Arts Center.

Lancaster City Public Works will be flushing water distribution mains beginning 6 April. The flushing will be done between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Are you planning some home improvement jobs this weekend? Are you looking for a new appliance, a dryer perhaps or an oven? The Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore’s sale starts today. The ReStore is located at 155 Independence Court and is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Second Annual Lancaster Roots & Blues is slated for Friday, 6 February and Saturday, 7 February, 2015. For a limited time, you can reserve your tickets early at just $85 for both days.
