There will be a North-Central Lancaster City Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday. Representatives from Lancaster City Police and the Lancaster Community Safety Coalition will be present to share safety information. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns about neighborhood issues. The meeting will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 701 North Lime Street.

The Lancaster Barnstormers will host their annual job fair on tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Wheatland Suite of Clipper Magazine Stadium. Over 250 people are hired each season in a variety of positions for those aged 16 and older. The first home game is 1 May.

Are you a bibliophile? The Friends of the Lancaster Public Library will hold their annual Winter ReSort Book Sale today through 23 February. The sale is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and Sunday is half-price day. Over 20,000 books are for sale in a variety of subject matters. The ReSort Center is located at 225 North Marshall Street.

Over 30 paintings and drawings by the late Robert Cunningham (1924-2010) will be on display at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) through 28 February. PCA&D is handicapped accessible. The school is located at 204 N Prince Street.

The Second Hand Suits hold a special acoustic performance live at Roaring Brook Market on 20 February. They will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Market is located at 155 East King Street.

Tonight the Barren Wells will perform at Tellus360. Based out of Reading, the Barren Wells is billed as a folk rock band. The performance will begin at 8 p.m.

The Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival is this coming weekend. Featuring a variety of Blues, Folk, Jazz, Bluegrass, Funk & Soul, Zydeco, Polka, Rock n'Roll, and Reggae, this Festival has something for everyone! The Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival will be 21 & 22 February. Five different venues throughout the City will host the various musicians on nine different stages. February may be Black History Month but mark your calendars now for the African American History Conference on 5 April. The Conference is sponsored by the African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania and will be held at the Thaddeus Stevens School of Technology, 750 East King Street.
