Today is National Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day. It is a day set aside on which we honor and recognize the contributions of Veterans who served during the Vietnam War era. Did you know Lancaster is home to a Vietnam Veterans of America chapter? Chapter 1008 meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Oak Leaf Manor North, 2901 Harrisburg Pike in Landisville. Please take a moment today to thank a veteran for his service.

A Flood Watch continues for the Lancaster area, effective through 8 p.m. today. Even a flood though will not keep the Walking Dead away! Watch the last episode of the season at the Federal Taphouse, 201 North Queen Street.

West End Yoga Studio will hold “Kundalini Yoga Women's workshop: Divine Power of Woman” today at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $35. The studio is located at 221 West Walnut Street.

Session Sunday at Tellus360 today features Tuck Ryan and friends. Grab your instrument of choice and head over to the pub for this unique monthly jam session from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tellus360 is located at 24 East King Street.

The Lancaster County Young Artists Exhibition is an annual juried show featuring hundreds of works by students in grades 7-12. Selected artwork is then displayed at Demuth Museum, 120 E. King Street, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

“Young Frankenstein” will be performed on the Fulton Theatre stage this month. Evening shows are 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Matinees will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Fulton is located at 12 N. Prince Street.

“Folklore” will be the featured exhibit at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) through 18 April. The contemporary works of art by Amy Cutler, Clare Grill, Clare Rojas and others will be featured during the month long exhibit. PCA&D is handicapped accessible. The school is located at 204 N Prince Street.

Miesse Candies is a one stop shop for your Easter basket! Shopping just became easier too. The store, located at 118 North Water Street, will open Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. from today through 12 April. Easter by the way is the 20th.
