Lancaster City Morning Buzz: Sunday, 2 March

Lancaster is under another Winter Storm Warning from 4 p.m. today through 4 p.m. Monday. The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting heavy snow with accumulations of six to eight inches. The heaviest snow is expected to arrive tonight into Monday morning, creating another headache for morning commuters. The NWS predicts the snow to end by Monday afternoon and encourages area residents to report snow and ice accumulations by either emailing or tweeting @nwsstatecollege using the hashtag #CTPWX.

Tuck Ryan and Jordan Rast, of Second Hand Suits, will lead Session Sunday at Tellus360 today. As always, local musicians are encouraged to join in. The Session is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Later tonight the Roadkill Ghost Choir will perform there as well. They arean indie-folk band based out of Florida. That performance is scheduled for 8 p.m. and there is a $10 cover charge.

Learn Irish Set Dance today at Tellus360. Irish Set Dance is a traditional Irish dance that is more like a square dance than a step dance. Come by yourself or bring a partner. The class runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tellus360 is located at 24 East King Street.
