Lancaster City Morning Buzz: Music Friday & Launch

It’s Music Friday! Various venues throughout the City offer music performances of a diversity of genres. Jeff Moore and Justin Newcomer will perform free tonight, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER. Music Friday events are held the third Friday of each month.

The 6th annual LAUNCH Music Conference & Festival continues today. Various venues throughout the City will participate. Indeed the End, Forevermore, Burn Lexington, Last In Line, My Heart To Fear, Memoria will be at the Lizard Lounge, 223 North Water Street, at 5 p.m. The Suzan, a punk girl Japanese band, will perform at the Marion Court Room at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $3. Chiodos, an alternative band, will play at the Chameleon Club at 5:45 p.m. The Chameleon is located at 223 North Water Street.

It’s Ladies Night Out at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER tonight! This monthly event is held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. Enjoy shopping, live music, free massages, and more. BUiLDiNG CHARACTER is located at 342 North Queen Street.

The Hole in the Wall Theatre presents “Here Comes Peter Cottontail” today at 11 a.m. The Theatre is located at 126 North Water Street.

The North Museum is sponsoring a Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show today at the Lancaster Farm & Home Center. Over 20 vendors will be on hand offering demonstrations, hands on activities, and special deals. The general admission is $5. The show runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
