Lancaster City Declares Snow Emergency

As the snow continues to fall, Lancaster City – like many area townships and boroughs - has declared a snow emergency. This means no cars may be parked along the marked snow emergency routes. Parking is available at the City’s parking garages during the duration of the snow emergency at no cost.

Enter a garage. Pull the ticket like normal. Parking is free from noon today the snow emergency has ended. The snow emergency went into effect at noon. Cars left on the marked routes one hour after a declaration has been called, in this case since 1 p.m. today, may either be towed at the owner’s expense or be ticketed $30.
