Lamar Odom was spotted possibly purchasing drug paraphernalia Tuesday as he and his driver walked out of a San Fernando Valley pharmacy with a bag full of items, and Chore Boy copper scrubbing pads are clearly visible in one of the bags. Brand name Chore Boy copper pads are commonly used as filler for crack pipes, according to TMZ on Sept. 11.
Lamar Odom, the 33-year-old pro NBA player, was photographed with his driver holding a bag of the copper scrubbing pads yesterday. While what the purchase was for is unknown, the fact is the pads are frequently used to fill crack pipes.
If you Google the brand of pads, the first pre-filled search term that appears is "crack". Also, the Urban Dictionary defines them as, "Brand name of scouring pad used also by people smoking crack to retain some of the cocaine vapors".
According to the agency that snapped the incriminating photos, Lamar made the conspicuous purchase just after meeting Khloe Kardashian's assistant to pick up some of his clothes. The pharmacy happens to be near the house the couple shared in Calabasas.
Odom just the other day laughed off rumors of marital trouble and denied having any drug or alcohol addiction. But those close to the man, such as estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, say otherwise.
Sources say Lamar desperately needs rehab help for multiple addictions, but at the top of the list is crack. While the basketball star continues his denial parade to the media, those close to him know better.
Over the last year alone, Odom has been bounced from hotels and dropped from multiple NBA teams. He recently spent a mere day in rehab, after just being busted for a DUI.
So, it's possible the NBA star had some kitchen cleaning to do yesterday when he purchased the Chore Boy, even though he's supposedly living in a hotel room, but you gotta wonder if he bought them for a more sinister reason.
