Khloe Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom is getting ready to release an official statement admitting that the NBA player is addicted to the prescription drugs Oxycontin and Ambien according to Monday, August 26 reports from Radar Online.
Lamar Odom is currently preparing his official statement that will confirm the speculation of the past few days claiming that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" cast member and husband of sister Khloe Kardashian is in fact having some severe addiction issues that have effected the couple's four-year-marriage.
The celebrity news site reveals that numerous sources close to the Kardashian family have confirmed that Lamar Odom, 33, has been battling drug addiction issues for over two years forcing him to check in to rehab last August.
In 2011 Lamar Odom is revealed to have spent only three weeks in rehab before checking himself out and remaining clean throughout his NBA season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Coincidentally Lamar Odom's drug relapse also coincides with the news breaking concerning his alleged cheating scandal with at least two women.
Radar also reveals that some media outlets that have been reporting that Lamar Odom is addicted to crack cocaine are completely false according to their sources.
It was also revealed that the reports that Lamar Odom was missing for more than 72 hours are also false according to Lamar's agent Jeff Schwartz.
"Lamar is not missing," Schwartz told ESPN.com. "His wife knows exactly where he is."
The exact time and day of Lamar Odom's statement release is unknown.
It is a tough time for Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian, but some fans are wondering if mention of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's marital issues will make their way into the family reality show, or will some things just be left private?
What do you think will Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's story be shared on E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"?
