Earlier in the month, it was reported that Lamar Odom’s ex-fiancé Liza Morales has yet to have sex since her separation from the Los Angeles Clippers star.
The news came as a shock to some, and in a report from Bossip.com on late Saturday, Jan. 26, Morales explained her situation further.
Soon set to star on TLC's "Starter Wives Confidential", Morales reveals that she came forward because she saw another cast member in a similar situation.
“I brought it up on the show because one of my other cast members, she mentioned that she was celibate, and some of the other cast members were kind of teasing her a little,” Morales explained. “I wasn’t going to have her stand out by herself.”
Morales did point out that she wasn’t planning on such a long break from intimacy.
“It’s not intentional,” Morales confirmed. “I’m not necessarily waiting to get married. I’ve only dated a handful of guys. And for me, I’m not going to sleep with you just because I’ve gone on a couple dates with you. That’s kind of what happened.”
Morales admits that she has been keeping track of how long it has been since her last sexual encounter and seems surprised at how much time has passed.
“Yes, I am keeping track because sex is a healthy thing if it’s done the right way and done safely,” she added. “Before I knew it, now it going to be damn near four years.”
Before the interview wrapped up, Morales was sure to point out that Odom isn’t to blame for her current hiatus.
“It has nothing to do with him, it has to do with me,” said Morales.
