Lamar Odom returned home to Khloe Kardashian, reports TMZ on Aug. 29, 2013, but whether or not Lamar Odom will go to rehab still remains questionable. Despite Khloe’s sisters’ ultimatum to Lamar Odom on Aug. 21, 2013, to “get help or get out,” Khloe “wants to save her marriage and him,” reported US Weekly on Aug. 28, 2013.
Lamar Odom had it all. But despite his “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” 29-year-old reality star wife Khloe Kardashian and a career as an NBA free agent, 33-year-old Lamar Odom is pulled by a force stronger than fame, money, or even love -- drugs.
“The rumors, sadly, are true,” reports US Weekly. (Rumors that Lamar Odom is addicted to crack, is according to US Weekly a false rumor.) The real culprit is cocaine.
"The addiction had taken over their marriage," a mutual pal told US Weekly. "The problem is cocaine. He would be high for three or four days at a time."
After nearly four years of marriage and making excuses for the man that she loves, Khloe Kardashian has reached a breaking point.
"She says the things he does are because of the drugs, and she just wants him to get help," says one of Khloe’s friends.
The problem with addictions is that no matter how much Khloe wants to save her marriage and him, until Lamar Odom decides that he wants to get help, it doesn’t matter.
Lamar Odom will most likely have to sacrifice one or the other. Which one is he more likely to give up -- Khloe or cocaine?
