Lamar Odom knew it was coming: 'Deeply saddened' Lamar knew divorce was coming

Lamar Odom knew it was coming. Khloe Kardashian's decision to file for divorce was reportedly no surprise to Lamar Odom -- just as it wasn't a surprise for anyone who followed the Kardashian-Odom saga for the past several weeks. On Dec. 13, E! News reported that Lamar was "deeply saddened" by Khloe's decision to leave him -- but he still knew that it was inevitable.

"He's deeply saddened by Khloé filing for divorce. He knew it was coming and it was only a matter of time. He felt like he gave his all to try and save the marriage, but ultimately he wasn't able to," a source told E! News.

Although Lamar Odom knew it was coming, there wasn't anything he could do to keep Khloe from filing for divorce. Given the fact that Lamar supposedly cheated on her (perhaps with multiple women) -- and the fact that he allegedly has a serious drug problem -- Khloe had no choice. On top of that, sources say Khloe has already moved on from Lamar and that she has been dating LA Dodgers' star Matt Kemp for the past few weeks.

A lot of people doubted Khloe and Lamar's relationship from the get-go but no one could have predicted this. Lamar seemed like such a nice, stand up kind of guy... but he had everyone fooled. And Khloe was taken on the ride of her life.

Lamar Odom knew it was coming but the source says that he will always love Khloe. "There will always be a place in his heart for Khloé. He will always love her and her family. She has decided and there is nothing more he can do. He has to accept that," said the source. Did Khloe do the right thing?
