Lamar Odom falls asleep on defense sometimes, but on Tuesday (March 5) it reportedly happened in a courthouse during a child custody hearing. According to a report from the NY Post, Odom fell asleep on a courthouse bench as lawyers were hashing out the details of his child custody case.
Odom is in court over a custody dispute with his former girlfriend Liza Morales. They had two children together, a daughter named Destiny, 14, and a son named Lamar Jr., 11. Both want to retain custody of the children and the former couple is in court to try to figure this out.
While resting on the bench, Odom apparently was spotted by a court officer who asked him, "Excuse me, are you OK?" Finding that Odom had simply fallen asleep, he asked him to sit up. Odom did just that, but continued resting his head on his hand.
Morales and Odom are in court because they allegedly aren't even speaking to one another. Those conversations take place through a third party, seemingly causing difficulties when it comes to the children. The court will now have to decide which parent is best suited to retain custody, but if Lamar Odom falls asleep again, it probably won't help his case.
