Lamar Odom isn't exactly having the best week. On Tuesday the NBA star reportedly fell asleep during a custody hearing related to his 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, the New York Post reports. Lamar Odom's court snooze followed an awkward run-in Monday night with his short-lived brother-in-law and fellow NBA star Kris Humphries.
The good news for Odom is he wasn't snoring in front of the judge or anything. According to reports his attorney was in a closed door session when Lamar stretched out on a bench in the courthouse. Seeing the 6'10" LA Clippers star sprawled out startled a security guard who questioned him. "Excuse me, are you OK?" the guard reportedly asked the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. "I need you to sit up.”
Lamar Odom later explained his courthouse nap saying he was not only jet-lagged, but coming down with the flu.
Odom and his ex were never married, but had three children together. Their youngest child died at 6 months old from SIDS. Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Lamar have made their desire to have children and struggle with infertility public.
