Khloe may have filed for divorce, but husband Lamar Odom plans to stay married. According to Us, Feb. 21, 2014, Lamar is not ready to talk about divorce or sign any papers. He wants to work things out with Khloe to save his marriage.
"I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what,” declared Lamar to Us. He went on to say that even if they did divorce, he would always consider Khloe as his wife.
Lamar said, “We all have regrets, but the thing is to learn from life. There's no one in this room, no one in this world who can say, 'I'm mistake-free, I have made no mistakes.' If you can introduce me to that person, please introduce me to that person. Let me meet him and speak to him."
Last year, allegations ran rampant over Lamar's infidelity with other women. In August, police pulled him over for suspected DUI. In December, he pled no contest in court. Rob Wilcox, spokesman of the Los Angeles City Attorney reported that Lamar must serve 36 months' probation, attend three months of alcohol counseling and pay a total of $1,814 in fines and fees for the DUI charge.
Alcohol wasn't Lamar's only problem. He also struggled with drug abuse and was allegedly addicted to crack cocaine. Khloe issued an ultimatum to Lamar. He could either seek treatment for his drug addiction or their marriage was over. Lamar went into the treatment center and he left the same day. Khloe, TV reality star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" kicked him out of the house and then filed for divorce.
Lamar seems to be working hard on turning his life around. The former NBA star signed a two month contract to play for the Spanish team, Laboral Kutxa. Time will tell whether Lamar can remain faithful to Khloe, while being drug free and sober. We wish him the best.
