Lakers News: NBA spoof of HBO's 'Game of Thrones' starring Lord Kupchak

HBO's Game of Thrones is arguably the most popular show on television today with seemingly everyone in the country tuning in on Sunday nights to see what will happen next in the crazy imaginary world of Westeros. With NBA playoffs in full swing, Bleacher Report came up with an epic spoof of the popular HBO series with an NBA twist called Game of Zones on May 16.

There's no shortage of NBA superstars in Bleacher Report's Game of Zones with LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Kevin Love all making appearances. Along with some of the biggest stars from around the league making cameos in the hilarious spoof, Greg Popovich, Pat Riley and Mitch Kupchak also portrayed in the spoof.

Perhaps the most surprising part of the Game of Zones is that Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant didn't make a cameo. One could only imagine how many different ways Kobe could've been involved in this spoof or spoofs to come. Even though Kobe didn't show up, quite a few other Lakers were seen. Jodie Meeks, Jordan Hill, Chris Kaman and Wesley Johnson were all referred to as Kupchak's daughters in the video. Although it doesn't make any sense saying that, you'll understand when you watch.

Without a doubt the best parts of Game of Zones has to be Bosh as a dragon and the Spurs portrayed as White Walkers. Popovich as a White Walker is priceless!

Hopefully, Bleacher Report does a few more of these Game of Thrones spoofs with other NBA stars and coaches making cameos. Kobe has to make an appearance in the next one along with Nate Robinson as Tyrion Lannister.
