The Los Angeles Lakers will attempt to snap a six-game losing streak on Sunday night against the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers at the Staples Center.
Fortunately for the Lakers, the team will have superstar center Dwight Howard back in the lineup after sitting out the last few games due to a partially torn labrum in his right shoulder. Howard was a game-time decision and officially given the green light after being reevaluated according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com via Twitter:
Lakers finally get some good injury news: Dwight Howard (shoulder) will start tonight vs CLE.
With Dwight back on the floor for the Lakers, the team's chances of actually snapping the losing streak tonight become that much better for this struggling squad.
Although Dwight will return against Cleveland, the Lakers always tend to struggle against the Cavs at home and away. The last meeting between these two wasn't all that favorable with the Lakers falling to the Cavs, 100-94.
