Skiers and snowboarders woke up with a little fresh powder to play in on Sunday morning at many Lake Tahoe ski resorts.
Although many resorts received a little more snow, there isn’t much new snow to report for Monday morning in the Lake Tahoe region.
Heavenly Mountain Resort will in South Lake Tahoe was exception, reporting 4 inches of fresh snow this morning. Heavenly is reporting a 30-percent chance of snow today. Boreal was reporting 3-5 inches of snow this morning.
The forecast, according to The Weather Channel, is a 10-percent chance of snow today at many Lake Tahoe ski resorts, where the daytime temperatures will remain low, staying in the low-30s. Morning temperatures were in the teens or lower at many areas, including 2 degrees at Alpine Meadows ski resort.
There was only a modest amount of snow dropping at Lake Tahoe ski resorts on Thursday. No resort reported over 2 inches of new snow.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Chance of snow in the morning ... then isolated snow showers in the afternoon. Temperature highs 28 to 33. Northwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon. Ridge gusts up to 60 mph.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Isolated snow showers. Temperature lows 8 to 18. North winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the northwest after midnight. Gusts up to 35 mph. Ridge gusts up to 60 mph increasing to 85 mph after midnight.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Temperature highs 38 to 43. Northwest winds around 10 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the morning. Ridge gusts up to 80 mph decreasing to 65 mph in the afternoon.
