Most Lake Tahoe ski resorts received a nice overnight gift this morning – snow!
Although the total was only 1 inch at many Tahoe resorts, some received more. Both Boreal Mountain Resort and Soda Springs received 2-4 inches, while Kirkwood Mountain Resort and Sugar Bowl were reporting 2-4 inches.
More snow is predicted today, according to The Weather Channel, which is predicting a 30-percent chance of snow. There is a 10-percent chance on Monday and 20 percent on Tuesday,
The other chance in Lake Tahoe weather is the temperature. It was colder Saturday evening than in the previous week and the daytime temperatures today will likely get only into the 30s.

Today: Snow showers in the morning...then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Highs 27 to 32. Northwest winds around 10 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the morning.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Isolated snow showers in the evening. Lows 6 to 11. Northeast winds around 10 mph.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers. Highs 28 to 33. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Ridge gusts up to 60 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows 10 to 20. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph after midnight. Ridge gusts up to 60 mph increasing to 80 mph after midnight.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs 36 to 41. Northeast winds around 10 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph in the morning. Ridge gusts up to 75 mph.
