Lake Tahoe Ski Report for January 18: Sunny days for holiday weekend skiing (Photos)

Sunny days and agreeable temperatures will greet people who are skiing or snowboarding in the Lake Tahoe region for the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.

The Tahoe daytime temperatures are forecasted to range from the high 30s to nearly 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The classic Lake Tahoe bluebird days will remain at least through Tuesday. There is a zero-percent chance of snow in the Tahoe region until Wednesday when there is a 30-percent chance.

Although there has been no new snow this week, the Lake Tahoe resorts were blessed with plenty of early snow this season and the cold weather has made it ideal for snow making and also for keeping the snow pack at higher levels.
