It’s nearly time for the annual Harvest Festival at the Lake Street Garden Center in Salem, NH. This two day festival features lots of fun things for gardeners and non-gardeners alike.
The festival will be featuring everything from free live music from the Cordwood Bluegrass String Band on Saturday September 10 at 11:00to a Boy Scout sponsored lunch. There will be zoo animals, a farmers market, and even a petting zoo.
Of course there will be some great deals on plants, too. The Lake Street Garden Center currently has more than 50 species of mums in stock and ready to go home to spruce up your yard and table for fall. With more than nine acres of land dedicated to offering the highest quality variety of plants possible there is sure to be plenty to keep gardeners happy even as the outdoor gardening season winds down as we get closer to winter.
The Harvest Festival will take place on September 10 and September 11 from 11:00 to 4:00 at the Lake Street Garden Center. The nursery is located at 37 Lake Street in Salem, NH. They can be found here on the web.
