Lake George area weekend happenings: Feb 10-12

Special Events:

George Henry’s 1st annual Wing Off

George Henry’s Bar and Grill, 3735 Main Street, Warrensburg, (518)623-5186 Sunday, February 12, 1-8 pm, $12 all you can eat wings. Raffle, contest – Who can eat the most wings – prizes. Event to benefit St. Cecilia’s Youth Missionary trip.

Outdoor Fun:

Lake George Winter Carnival, Shepard Park, Canada Street, Lake George, NY

This second weekend features a Barbeque cook-off at 12:30 on Saturday. Last weekend’s chili cook-off sold out so get there early if you are looking for some good barbeque.

Sunday at 1pm local taverns will compete on the beach in relay tray and three-legged races. A polar golf tournament is scheduled for Sunday, 11-3pm.

The AMA sanctioned motorcycle and ATV ice racing has been rescheduled for the weekend of February 25th, ice conditions permitting. A full schedule of events can be found at The Lake George Winter Carnival website.

  • Sunday, February 12: Public Skate: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
