Earlier this month, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) partnered with Google Inc. to offer their Aspirations in Computing Educator Award to 20 high-school educators across the country for their support of young women's participation in computing and technology. Seth Reichelson, science teacher at Lake Brantley High School, was among the recipients.
One of the main goals of this program is to encourage additional involvement of girls in computer science programs across the country. Each teacher selected for this award will receive up to $1000 for professional development related to computing education.
Congratulations, Mr. Reichelson!
