"Lady Irish celebrates number one spot in ACC win against Duke"

Kayla Mcbride, Jewel Lloyd, Lindsay Allen and Natalie Achonwa kept the Lady Irish rocking and reeling against the Duke Lady Blue Devils for an 88-67 win keeping the Lady Irish unbeaten.

Mcbride had 23 points and 11 rebounds while Lloyd scored 17 points. Achonwa and Allen both scored 15 points apiece giving the Lady Irish a percentage shooting of 62 percent while Duke shot only 39 percent.

Although Notre Dame had 22 turnovers, they had a big edge in rebounds grabbing 41 of them to Duke's 30.

Notre Dame also dominated Duke in assists in which the Irish had 19 to Duke's 9.

Possessing great offensive and defensive attacks, the Lady Irish remain a favorite to once again play in this year's championship game.
