Lady Gaga is going to hell, or so says America's most vocal hatemonger Pastor Fred Phelps.
Phelps is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church which is more commonly known as the "God Hates Fags" group. Lady Gaga apparently drew Phelps' ire with her statement at the American Music Awards "Bless God and Bless the Gays".
Phelps has now announced that he'll be bringing his special brand of crazy to the Lady Gaga concert in St. Louis, Missouri on January 7th. Lady Gaga is performing at the Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis as part of her 'Monster Ball' tour.
A press release entitled "God Hates Lady Gaga" announced an official protest of Lady Gaga's St. Louis concer refers to Lady Gaga as a "sleazy God-hater" and went on to say:
"Even as she gives lip service to 'liberating' her young fans, Lady Gaga brings them into slavery to their own corruption, teaching them to glory in their shame."
In the past, members of the Westboro Baptist Church have protested outside the funerals of fallen troops with signs reading "Thank God for dead soldiers" and "God Hates America".

Wow, I can believe how wrong "a man of God" could be. God doesn't hate anyone. Hating is a sin, so I really doubt God, who is perfect, would sin. And Gaga does not hate God, if she did then why would she thank him in her acceptance speech. She's a better person than this Phelps guy. i don't think God 'hates' lady gaga, otherwise that defeats the purpose of being God, who is forgiving and doesn't 'hate'. He cannot hate someone for being who they are, I think they're being a bit extreme on her but they are right about homosexual fans "bringing them into slavery to their own corruption, teaching them to glory in their shame". In a religious view, that is correct. Unfortunately, people are the way they are, you can't just hate a homosexual for being who they are, but if they feel proud about it, then there's reason to think they will go to hell unless they change their opinion. I'm sure there are homoexual christians who don't feel proud to be who they are but can you really blame them?

If "God" hated soldiers, Lady Gaga, gays etc...doesn't that completely contradict that "god" has unconditional love for EVERYONE?!
