Perhaps since we reported the lower than expected sales of Lady Gaga's North American tour that even made its way on Perez Hilton's website (see middle of page), Mother Monster decided to do some PR damage this afternoon by tweeting how excited she is to play back-to-back "sold out" shows at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver this weekend. The problem -- as of early this evening (see picture above) there were still tickets left for the first night and even more for the second night.
Nobody is denying that she sold a good amount of tickets. But why is Lady Gaga lying about her ticket sales and why is the mainstream media covering up for her? We brought up this question before when Lady Gaga tweeted how she was going to play in front of 50,000 fans in Peru. Several news outlets said there was only 17,000 people in the crowd and many of the tickets were given away free. Live Nation reported an audience of 36,000, but many believe the numbers were falsely reported.
Perhaps upset with her ticket sales, Lady Gaga fans have taken to Twitter in order to continue bullying Kelly Osbourne. However, Ms. Osbourne has said she doesn't care anymore.
