Lady Gaga graces the cover of “Glamour” magazine’s December 2013 issue. The “Applause” singer shows her softer side in a glammed up, 1970’s look. Gaga is draped in a shimmery brown Gucci wrap dress. She completes the look with neutral makeup and long blonde crimped hair. In an interview with the magazine, Gaga opens up about her thoughts on beauty, according to Hollywood Life on Oct. 29,.
When asked if she thinks she’s beautiful, the 27-year-old says, “Not conventionally beautiful. If there was some sort of mathematical equation for beauty, I don’t know if I would be the algorithm. I’ve always been OK with that. I’m not a supermodel. That’s not what I do. What I do is music. I want my fans to feel the way I do, to know what they have to offer is just as important, more important, than what’s happening on the outside.”
Gaga also talks about her image and reveals that she is confident in messages she sends through her unconventional sense of style. “I became somebody else for a reason, you know. This is part of what my message is—you can become whoever you want to be, to escape your past.”
