Lady Gaga has been a superstar for maybe two years and there are already as many people selling out her story of her struggle to the top as there are magazines dedicated exclusively to the Jonas Brothers. The latest bitch-and-tell is by Gaga's former manager, who claims in the horribly-titled Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga that the pop star's costume secret isn't Spanx; it's starving.
Yes, Gaga will die to look good, apparently. David Clemny says she would binge on candy during tours and lost twenty pounds at a time between costume sittings. First of all, did Gaga, as a member of the Babysitter Club generation, learn nothing from the plight of diabetic Stacy McGill, who put herself in the hospital from a junk food freak out? And second, she can lose twenty pounds that fast? She should market that.
Gaga has denied rumors that she uses baby food to stay skinny. Please, everyone knows it's all about chocolate laxatives and Activia yogurt!
To counteract these rumors, someone told the London Mirror all about how Gaga likes to have a decadent spread of food backstage for every show. Yeah...fitting into vinyl jumpsuits isn't really easy. Girl has to have some method.

I was at her concert in Tacoma and was blown away.. I don't think I've ever seen someone put so much into a concert before- it was like a 3 hour cardio extravaganza. I don't think she needs to starve to be that fit- she probably burns at least 900 calories per concert.
She has earned every bit of her fame... and her figure.
