The 2012 Grammy Awards show has a few moments that make fans take pause to wonder what is happening. Sunday night, Lady Gaga, "Queen of Pop" sat next to country music's superstar couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. While pop and country often cross connect in the music world, the styles of the three singers are extremely different.
Lady Gaga did not win her award to night for the song "Born This Way," she lost out to Adele. Gaga did however, impress the fashionistas with her black veil, long black gown and sphere rod. Lady Gaga looked much like a queen from another country. The photos in the slide show to the left give a good view of her queenly poise.
One person posted that Stevie Wonder thought Lady Gaga was awesome. “You look beautiful tonight, Lady Gaga!” – Stevie Wonder
At least one fan was more captivated by Blake Shelton than Lady Gaga, posting this question to Blake, "are you excited to sit next to Lady Gaga?!” Hope she wears that meat dress... I'm starving!!!" Blake did not answer, possibly because he is too busy at the Grammy Awards.
Next year the competition will be fierce. Lady Gaga was congratulatory of Adele and did not appear to be off- put while on camera. For now the fans are very supportive of Lady Gaga and the film clip to the left asks the question, "Is Lady Gaga being overlooked?" Whatever the case it was an unusal night and seeing the three megastars sitting together gave an odd feeling of comfort.
