Stars are notorious for making over-the-top demands for their backstage dressing rooms and hotel accommodations, but Lady Gaga may take the cake on this one. Celebuzz posted the rider from Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, which ran from 2009 – 2011, on Feb. 4.
Many of the requests were health orientated. Staying in top-notch shape to fit in those crazy outfits and walk around in towering shoes requires dedication. The superstar required an elliptical machine in her hotel room and 24-hour access to the hotel’s onsite restaurant for her personal chef. She requested peanut butter with flax, fresh fruit, hummus and bran flakes cereal.
Lady G demanded the room be draped in black and silver with fan art, as well as vintage rock posters decorating the walls. White leather couches were to be brought in, along with French roses in white, lavender and yellow.
The strangest request was for
“a manquin [sic] with puffy pink public [sic] hair”
in her backstage suite.
Since “mannequin” was spelled wrong, many fans feel it is safe to speculate that “public” isn’t exactly the word Lady Gaga meant, either.
