Lady Gaga's VMA performance of "Joe Calderon" is a rip-off of Annie Lennox at the 1984 Grammy's says Kelly Osbourne and she offers the link to prove it. While Kelly does not have harsh words about Lady Gaga's imitation of the great Annie Lennox, she does say she wishes the pop diva "would give credit where credit is due." How Kelly Osbourne could pull this out of her hat is amazing, she wasn't even born when Lennox wowed the crowd with the same type of male alter-ego portrayal as Gaga did. Oh, but wait, she is the daughter of some very iconic rock folks, Ozzie and Sharon Osbourne, so of course someone around the house would remember this!
Lady Gaga's been accused of copying Madonna when it comes to actions, costumes and even her music, but this Annie Lenox video shows a costume that is so similar to "Joe Calderon" and this is what Annie had on at an awards show. It looks obvious that Lady Gaga fashioned herself after Lennox with the costume so similar, but she too was not around when this show aired.
