Lady Gaga's diet falls prey to backstage pranks

In an interview at Google headquarters Tuesday, Lady Gaga revealed her strict diet regimen often falls prey to backstage pranks by tourmates. While answering a slew of questions from fans, Gaga said she's often harassed by friends with daring diet temptations that aren't a part of her rigid nutrition menu.

LADY GAGA DIET PRANKS INCLUDE "MOUNDS OF CHEESEBURGERS"

"I don't like pranks," Gaga, 24, said. "But with me [on tour], I've actually brought all my friends from New York City so...there's a lot of backstage shenanigans. Very often they make jokes about my diet because they know I have to stay fit for music videos."

She adds, "So they'll leave mounds of cheeseburgers in my dressing room. Really awful. Vicious."

LADY GAGA'S DIET: DRUNK DIET NOT REAL

Despite picking up fame for being on the "drunk diet" last month, Gaga says her real key to staying fit is working out every day and eating a diet that's similar to her personal trainer's famous diet, The 5-Factor Diet.

LADY GAGA DIET: THE 5-FACTOR DIET

Formulated by celebrity personal trainer and Gaga's trainer, Harley Pasternak, The 5-Factor Diet is designed around five meals per day that keep stars losing weight without feeling hungry. Each meal is comprised of five ingredients and take only five minutes to prepare. In addition to this, Gaga is allowed five cheat days for every five weeks on the diet.

GAGA'S WORKOUT: FOCUS ON ABS, CONFIDENCE

"The deal is," Lady Gaga said in a past interivew. "I've got to work out every day...And I work out hung over if I'm hung over."

GAGA WORKOUTS, DIETS FOR STELLAR PERFORMANCES

In addition to sticking to her workouts, Lady Gaga's trainer has the "Born This Way" singer move through workouts, with a special focus on abs, just before performing to warm her up and give her "confidence."

"The thrill of my voice being healthy on stage is really special," Gaga said last year. "I take care of myself."
