Lady Gaga previews new song 'Aura' in 'Machete Kills' movie trailer (Video)

A movie trailer for Robert Rodriguez's "Machete Kills" was released on Friday with a new song by Lady Gaga. Her experimental dance track "Aura" leaked earlier this year as a demo but now fans can preview a bit of the mastered version.

Lady Gaga is one of the stars in "Machete Kills" so she is getting some cross promotion with "Aura" in the new movie trailer. The cooky electronic song will also be featured on her upcoming album "ARTPOP." A rough demo of it leaked in early August but now a bit of the mastered version is out. Gaga plays the part of a sexy, gun-toting assassin in the film.

According to JustJared.com, a special lyric video of "Aura" will be released to VEVO on October 8. This could mean that "Aura" might be the second single from "ARTPOP" or it could just be a promo release for the forthcoming album. Gaga is currently burning up the Hot 100 with her fiery dance single "Applause."

"ARTPOP" will be released on November 11. "Machete Kills" hits theaters on October 11.
