Lady Gaga postpones North American concerts due to injury (Video)

Lady Gaga was forced to postpone concerts in Chicago, Detroit, and Hamilton, Canada, because she has sustained an injury that is causing her terrible pain, according to the performer herself on Feb. 12.

The entertainer, who was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, talked about her situation on social media, commenting on Twitter specifically to explain her situation. The musician let her fans know that she has been suffering synovitis, or severe joint inflammation, after hurting herself in a concert a while back and is now not able to walk following her Feb. 11 concert in Quebec.

The 26-year-old singer said to her 34,043,298 Twitter followers, "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now [and] over the last month it has worsened"

She added, "I've been praying [this injury] would heal."

Although this A-list act has been forced by health issues to put off her "Born This Way Ball" concerts in the three North American cities mentioned above, this trooper will go on with the show starting in Philadelphia next week when doctors are expected to clear her for the ability to get on stage.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga directly addressed her Little Monsters who were looking forward to seeing her perform in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, by pleading with them. She said on Twitter, "I hope you can forgive me as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I'm devastated [and] sad."
