Lady Gaga on Jay Leno talks Grammys and new projects

Lady Gaga appeared on the Jay Leno Show on Monday, February 14, 2011, the day after making a huge splash at the Grammys, making a grand entrance in an egg shaped vessel, carried on the shoulders of her dancers. Gaga made a slightly more subdued entrance on the Leno Show, carrying all three of the Grammys that she won the night before.

Gaga came dressed in a black outfit and huge black glasses. The flesh colored horns from her Sunday night costume were still on her forehead. Her three Grammys were cradled in her arms, like children.  Lady Gaga won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal.

Lady Gaga made an over the top entrance at the Grammys in what was called an egg, but she said that is was actually supposed to be called a vessel.  The Grammy vessel was designed by a Chilean artist. Gaga designed all of the costumes for herself and the dancers and said that she changed them two days before the show, causing a flurry of activity for her staff.

Jay Leno showed the cover of the new Vogue Magazine, which features Lady Gaga looking fairly conservative, but very Vogue.  Lady Gaga talked about her new album, "Born This Way." Gaga said that she had worked on the album for over a year. The album is about being able to know that when you are born is more than just the moment, and that every moment is about more than the moment you are in.
