Lady Gaga will play the HP Pavillion Center in San Jose, California tomorrow evening. As Northern California radio stations are reporting, Ticketmaster is showing plenty of tickets left. In fact, we put in a query for 20 tickets and were able to get all those seats in a row for Section 215. These are pretty good seats. No doubt, Lady Gaga will find a creative way to give the tickets away and make the venue appear full.
Mother Monster is the self-appointed leader of the Gay community, so the poor ticket sales in the nation's most gay-friendly area should raise a red flag. Perhaps many people in the gay community feel they are being used as a marketing tool. Perhaps, as homosexuals, we don't like to be told we are misfits and the only way we can be saved is to worship at the alter of Lady Gaga.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's "Born Brave" bus has caused some controversy, especially since it has a picture of accused pervert Terry Richardson, Gaga's friend, dressed as Jesus. The bus is supposed to be a place for "little monsters" to get therapy before the show. Perhaps if Lady Gaga truly cared, she would provide therapy for concertgoers after the show.
